Dominique Fils-Aimé short listed for the 2021 Polaris Music Prize

Dominique Fils-Aimé [FEES-em-AY] has made the Polaris Music Prize Short List again for her latest work, “Three Little Words.” This is Fils-Aimé’s last installment from her album trilogy that conceptualizes the history of African American Music. It is an adaption of soul music in the truest sense of the term: music that comes from the depths of her soul and is meant to challenge and enrich the souls of her listeners. The album is centered around self-healing and recognizing the importance of mental health. Her previous album “Stay Tuned!” also received a mention in 2019.

Congratulations on all your excellent work Dominique! We are so excited to see what you will do next.
